About Us

ParkSmart is a mobile iOS and Android app aimed to help college students and visitors of college campuses find parking in and around a given university campus. The app is meant to serve as a crowd-driven parking assistant and is predicted to steeply decrease the amount of time students and visitors spend searching for parking on campus. Off-Campus students and commuting visitors can spend up to an hour finding parking during event-heavy days and peak class times, which may lead to feelings of distaste for the university as a whole. After searching for parking, students may even be late to class because of parking unavailability and confusion over parking guidelines and spaces. ParkSmart intends on clearing up parking guidelines and providing the commuting community with a tool to make getting to campus easier and more enjoyable.
